Message from the President
In today’s modern society where people and information move freely across international borders it is perhaps rare that you will not come across what could be your destiny.
For example, today, it is more commonplace for a corporate executive or sales representative to be exposed to a new environment overseas and return home with a strong vision or insight as to how to best utilize their business resources.
However, while the business environment may be free and full of dynamic business opportunities, it is perhaps more rare for a Japanese corporation to form a truly productive collaboration in Asia.
Just as it is not a sure thing that a popular television drama will eventuate simply from the union of actors or actresses, in the world of business it is also difficult to create the drama you envisioned on your own, without the help of directors and producers to write the screenplay, cast the characters, direct it and at times, appease uncompromising actors on the stage that is Asia.
Just as Japan has grown into a global economic power as a technology-driven nation from the devastation that remained following the end of the war, there is a strong “desire for economic development” in countries all across Asia that are currently undergoing significant economic growth and change. There are a large number of up-and-coming corporations that respect the business resources of Japan and have a strong desire to work together with these Japanese corporations to contribute to the development of their own countries.
World Link Japan aims to take a comprehensive approach to creating business opportunities in the complex market that is Asia and serve as a bridge to ensure the coexistence of Japanese and Asian corporations that is difficult to achieve by simply bringing these two parties together.
